Course Delivery:
The course will be delivered using the following structure:
Step 1 – Once we receive full payment an email will be sent to you with links to all resources. You don’t need to install any additional software.
Step 2 – Complete all 8 parts of BS 7671. After each part you will complete a short summative quiz.
Step 3 – When you have completed the 8 parts you can complete a sample quiz of 60 questions.
Step 4 – Finally, book your online exam. This can be done at our training centre or from the comfort of your home.
eCertificate – You will receive your eCertificate no later than 1 working day after successful completion. Hard copy will follow in the post at no extra cost.
Certification – On successful completion of the course you will be awarded with the City & Guilds, Level 3, Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations.

Entry Requirements:
This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations. All candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
Course Content:
This course will cover the latest standard of the IET wiring regulations. You will learn to navigate the book and gain an understanding of the essential sections as set out in the contents.
The focus of delivery will be the 8 parts of the latest amendment of this book which are:
Part 1 – Scope, object and fundamental principles
Part 2 – Definitions
Part 3 – Assessment of general characteristics
Part 4 – Protection for safety
Part 5 – Selection and erection of equipment
Part 6 – Inspection and testing
Part 7 – Special installations or locations
